EA Maturity Model

EA Maturity Model has been created to facilitate Enterprise Architecture implementation in government entities. The model consists of five focus areas:

  • Process: Identify and fine tune processes to develop, govern and communicate Enterprise Architecture
  • Competency: Create an EA Team within the entity and develop its skills and capabilities to support entities’ EA initiatives
  • Definition: Establish applicable entity level Architecture (Baseline & Target) for Business, Applications, Data/Information and Technology domains. Define entity’s Architecture Principles and Technology Standards & Guidelines
  • Usage: Utilize the EA artifacts in Business capability and IT Planning & Procurements and to speed up solution development of Project Architectures
  • Integration: Two way alignment and integration between entity EA programs and the principles, outcomes, artifacts and initiatives defined under NEAF
